Congratulations to Hamilton County, the city of Fishers, the city of Noblesville, and the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) on taking the next big step toward the expansion of economic growth through infrastructure improvements within the community!

Hamilton County officials commemorated the beginning of the $140 Million SR 37 Corridor Project with the ceremonious tossing of the dirt during a groundbreaking event on September 9th, kicking-off the official beginning to improvements along SR 37 from 126th Street to 146th Street. 

Corridor enhancements are anticipated to expedite travel times and provide a much safer route along SR 37.  This new project will alleviate congestion in the area and entice economic growth by attracting new businesses. 

The project is expected to be completed in four phases as indicated below, with construction ending in 2022. 

■ Phase 1 – 126th Street: complete Winter 2020

■ Phase II – 146th Street: begin Spring 2020, complete Winter 2021

■ Phase III – 131st and 135th Streets: begin Fall 2020, complete Fall/Winter 2021/22

■ Phase IV – 141st Street: begin Spring 2021, complete Fall/Winter 2021/22
