Jeffersonville, IN / April 23, 2019 / Spring Street Corridor – Claysburg Segment

The city of Jeffersonville hosted an official Groundbreaking Ceremony to kick-off the much anticipated improvements to the Spring Street Corridor. Project planning has been ongoing since 2017 when United prepared the Engineer’s Report, detailing the design elements, construction costs, and schedules for multiple roadway segments extending from Riverside Drive to Dutch Lane.

The new enhancements will be consistent with the recent improvements to the Downtown area and will provide congruency between the two neighborhoods. Residents in the Claysburg community are excited for safer pedestrian access along the busy corridor which will include new sidewalks and lighting.

United prepared supplemental topographic ground survey, design plans, and bid documents for the Claysburg Segment which will is the first of four to be constructed. United’s involvement with this segment will continue through the construction inspection phase.
