
The 2018 IWEA (Indiana Water Environment Association) Annual Conference brought 73 technical presentations, 124 partnering vendors, and over 1,000 attendees to the Westin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis, providing three days of opportunities for learning and networking.
United’s Water and Wastewater Department Manager, Keith Bryant, PE, was among the technical presenters as he co-presented a session with Nara Manor, Superintendent for the City of Anderson Water Pollution Control Facility, for the Greensbranch Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
In step with Developing the Next Generation, the theme for this year’s 81st annual conference, the presentation for the Greensbranch Sewer project was entitled Making an Old Sewer New Again. United’s involvement with the project included survey, replacement and rehabilitation alternative evaluation, design, bid phase assistance, public outreach and meetings, construction administration, and periodic construction inspection.
