Congratulations to INDOT, the city of Fishers, and Hamilton County on the honor of being selected as the Grand Project Award Winner in the 30th Annual ACEC Indiana Engineering Excellence Awards Competition for the New Interchange at I-69 and 106th Street project! The interchange is one of the first oval interchanges built in the United States and the ONLY ONE built over an interstate.

Last November, the project was selected among a handful of Honor Award recipients who were in the running to be crowned as the Grand Project of the Year. Despite stiff competition, the interchange was announced during the Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet on March 15th as taking top honors for this year’s event.

United Consulting designed the new interchange and managed the project delivery including the professional services for topographic survey, roundabout operations, utility coordination, land acquisition management, and road, bridge, retaining wall, and hydraulic design.
