During an official  groundbreaking ceremony, representatives from The Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Ports of Indiana, Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency, Clark County, Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission, River Ridge Development Authority, and the Indiana Department of Transportation initiated the beginning of the next phase of a multi-million dollar road improvement project in Jeffersonville, IN — Heavy Haul Road Segment A.

The new road will provide connectivity between River Ridge Commerce Center and the Ports of Indiana at Jeffersonville while accommodating heavy haul load specifications to the ever-growing commercial and industrial expansion in the area. United is serving as the project manager for this project.
