United employees gave from their hearts with donations to the Old Bethel Community Outreach on Indianapolis’ east side. Employees donated gently used coats, 475 food items, $303 in personal checks and $200 from United to this special and well needed program. As of December 31, 2008 Kent Downey, passed the reigns as United's President to Dave Richter. Kent will remain an employee for the next year and will serve as a Senior Project Manager and will help with the transition.
